Sounds amazing, isn’t it? But is this really applicable to your organization? Or do you feel guilty every time you want to ask for a vacation/sick leave?
If you can easily apply for a vacation leave without feeling guilty, then it’s a clear sign that your organization also values your well-being. They understand that you are not a machine, and to function well and do great at work, you should also be away from your emails to recompose yourself if you feel like you can no longer handle stress.
A good employer should provide you with the right tools that can help you excel in your tasks. They must be able to give you updated software and the right business platforms to do your job. It’s also a sign of a good workplace if your managers deliver your needs related to work.
In the latest McKinsey & Company report, 41% of people who quit their jobs said that they left their organization because of lack of career development/advancement.
So, every now and then, it’s only right to reflect on whether you are still growing or not in your company. After all, if your organization doesn’t provide you with growth opportunities, there are many out there who will.
Do you feel motivated in your job? Are you productive? If yes, it shows that you’re happy with what you do and the people you work with.
In a report, happy employees are found to be as much as 20% more productive in the workplace than unhappy staff. But how do you become happy and satisfied at work? The study revealed that your company should maintain your good health and wellness to make you lively at work.
It’s time for you to prioritize yourself and look for an organization that will value you and your talent.
